After spending 15 years working for some of the most notable wineries in Sonoma and Napa - such as Paul Hobbs, Kundee and Faust & Flowers - I decided to make a change and bring my years of experience over to Washington State. I moved to the western Washington area in 2020 and became one of the head winemakers for Matthew’s second label, Blackboard, alongside Betz as harvest assistant winemaker. From there, I joined Hedges Family Estate as their production winemaker.

Let’s be honest when going wine shopping it’s hard to find what you want especially when you are looking at wines you don’t recognize. With getting my level 1 Sommelier certification I am here to help teach you about different winemaking regions around the world.
